As a licensed, gold-star New York City Sightseeing Guide, I am passionate about giving you an exceptional tour you won't find anywhere else.  Not just any tour, you'll learn about the first Jewish community in North America founded in 1654 (Congregation Shearith Israel) in the most unique and interesting way possible: with a guide who has been a member of the community for over twenty years, through poetry and song of the community, through exciting stories about pirates, the struggle to create a community, their contributions to the American Revolution and American Jewish history, early cemeteries, famous members from Asser Levy to Emma Lazarus, and so much more. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and passion with all of those whom I guide.

Synagogue Tour

JanetK Tours will show you the current home of the first congregation in North America, a the landmark building. You will learn about the congregation , from its beginnings to the present day.  Private and Group Tours available.

Walking Tour - Lower Manhattan

JanetK Tours offers a unique walking tour of Lower Manhattan.  The tour meets at Bowling Geen Park (at the flagpole) and last for an hour and a half.  We will visit the sites of houses of worship, homes of early settlers, and more.  Private and Group Tours available.

Cemetery Tour
